About Printable Art

What is printable art?

Printable art is a flexible and affordable way to decorate you home. When you shop with Singular Toys Printables, you receive digital files that can be printed on a home printer, uploaded to an online print service, or printed locally and then picked up or shipped to you. You have the freedom to choose your printer, print size, paper, and frames, so your artwork it completely customized to your space!

How does it work?

1. Choose your art from Singular Toys Printables and save 30% automatically when you add 3 or more regularly-priced items to your cart. Discounts are applied at checkout.

2. After payment, you'll be redirected to an order confirmation page with a link to download your artwork. You will also receive an email with a link to this confirmation page, where you can download your files at any time. Please check your junk folder if you don't receive the email.

3. Your files will be located on Dropbox (no account required). On Dropbox, you will find the selection of high-resolution (300 dpi) JPG files in the sizes listed in the product descriptions. Download any or all of these files to your computer or mobile device.

4. Once downloaded, you can then print your files on a home printer, upload them to an online printing service, or send the files to a local print shop. For more information about choosing a printer, paper, etc., please refer to the FAQ or contact me if you need further assistance.

How to download your artwork

Within minutes of your purchase, you should receive a confirmation email with a link to view your order receipt on our website. You can access your files at any time from this order page via the download link. If you don't receive your confirmation email, please reach out to me with your order number and I will make sure you get access to your files.

Once on the Dropbox website, you should see your files (or folders containing your files if you purchased a set) in the available sizes. Avoid taking screenshots of images to save your artwork. Download files directly to receive your high-resolution images. If the name of your downloaded file contains the word "preview," then you have only downloaded Dropbox's low-resolution version. Feel free to reach out if you have trouble downloading your files and I'll be happy to help!

Printing options and recommendations

Print at home

When printing smaller sizes on a home printer, I recommend using smooth card stock or heavyweight matte photo paper for your print(s). You are welcome to use any type of photo paper, however matte is a great option for eliminating any glare.

When setting up your files to print, select 'original size' or 100% rather than 'fit to page' to avoid any distortion of the image. If applicable, ensure that the quality is at the highest setting and the paper type is set correctly. Disable any of your printer's color correction settings before printing.

Online printers

All of our files are in RBG color mode, which is standard for online printers. If you live in the U.S. and choose to upload your files to an online printing service, I highly recommend Shutterfly and Mpix for the best results with quality and color.  Each of these printers offer a wide variety of small print and large poster sizes, as well as canvas prints and other unique options.

You are welcome to print with other stores such as Staples, Cosco, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc., however I have seen issues with the colors depending on the location. I would request a test print if at all possible if you choose to go with an office supply store for your printing.

You will be able to upload your files directly from your computer or device, select your size, and order your prints within minutes with many online printers. When uploading the files, ensure that the file size corresponds directly to the size print your wish to order to avoid any discrepancies in the quality and resolution.
